Questions? We've Got Answers.

Straight talk about ordering, equipment, licensing, our Show Room, and what to expect when you work with us.

Ordering & Shipping

If it says "in stock," it ships from our San Bernardino warehouse within 1-3 business days. Not from a port overseas — from us, here in California. Standard ground delivery is 5-10 business days depending on where you are. Need it faster? Expedited options are available at checkout. For made-to-order equipment (large reactors, custom configs, or manufacturer-direct items), lead times are typically 2-6 weeks. We'll keep you updated every step of the way with an estimated delivery date at checkout and tracking once it ships.
Big stuff — 50L rotovaps, industrial chillers, closed-loop extractors — ships on a pallet via freight carrier. Delivery is to your loading dock or curbside (not inside your facility). No loading dock? Liftgate service is available. You'll get a tracking number, and the carrier will call to schedule delivery. Important: inspect everything before you sign. If anything looks damaged, note it on the delivery receipt — that protects you on the freight claim.
Right now, we ship within the continental US. Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders — we can usually make it work, but it's case by case. Reach out and we'll get you a freight quote.
Absolutely — and it's free. Select "Local Pickup" at checkout and we'll have it ready within 1 business day. Just a heads up: bring a truck or van for anything bigger than benchtop equipment. A 20L rotovap doesn't fit in a sedan.
All the usual: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, ACH/bank transfer, and wire transfer. For orders over $5,000, financing is available through our lending partner — apply at checkout for terms up to 36 months. Institutional buyers (universities, government labs): we accept purchase orders with NET30 terms on approved credit.
Yes — for equipment purchases over $5,000, you can apply right at checkout. Most business applicants get approved in minutes. Typical terms: 12-36 month payment plans, competitive rates, no prepayment penalties. Makes a $30K lab build a lot more manageable.
Unused and unopened? Full refund within 30 days — you just cover return shipping. Defective? We handle everything: return shipping, replacement or full refund. Just report defects within 14 days of delivery. Used equipment isn't eligible for return unless it's defective. Made-to-order and custom items are non-returnable — we'll make sure you know that before you order.

Equipment & Specs

We carry both 110V and 220V equipment — voltage is listed on every product page. As a general rule: larger equipment (20L+ rotovaps, industrial chillers, big reactors) runs on 220V. Smaller benchtop items are typically 110V. Important: running 220V equipment on 110V (or vice versa) will damage it and void the warranty. Check the specs before you plug anything in, and talk to your electrician about dedicated circuits if you're setting up a new space.
Depends on the product. Pressure vessels (extractors, reactors) carry ASME Section VIII Division 1 certification where applicable. Electrical components are UL/ETL listed or CE marked. General lab equipment has CE marking with ISO 9001 manufacturing standards. If you're setting up a Type 7 in California, your closed-loop extractor needs ASME certification and a professional engineer sign-off — we ship the documentation you'll need for your license application.
Let's be straight about this: yes, our equipment is manufactured in China. So is most lab equipment in this price range — including gear from brands charging 3-5x more. The difference isn't where it's made, it's how it's sourced, inspected, and supported. We work with established manufacturers (not random factories), inspect every unit at our San Bernardino warehouse, and stand behind it with a 1-year warranty and US-based support. Same borosilicate glass, same stainless steel, same PTFE seals, same PID controllers — without the premium brand markup. Best way to judge? Come to the Show Room and put your hands on it.
Every piece of equipment comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship — motors, pumps, electronic controllers, seals, and gaskets under normal use. What's not covered: damage from running on the wrong voltage, improper installation, or normal wear items after extended use. And when something does go wrong, you're calling us — not a marketplace support queue or an overseas manufacturer.
It comes down to how much you're processing. Quick sizing guide: Rotovaps — 5L for small batches, 20L for mid-scale (20-50 lbs/week), 50L for production. Chillers — match cooling capacity to the equipment it serves. Extractors — column size determines batch capacity. Still not sure? That's literally what we're here for. Visit the Show Room or give us a call — tell us your license type, processing method, and throughput goals, and we'll recommend specific models.
That's exactly what the Show Room is for. Come to San Bernardino and see it all running — rotovaps spinning, chillers cooling, reactors set up the way they'd be in your lab. Compare sizes side by side, check the glass quality, ask our team anything. No appointment needed, but scheduling ahead lets us prep specific equipment you want to focus on.

Regulations & Licensing

Nope. Lab equipment is not a controlled substance — there's no license required to purchase anything we sell. Buy it before your license comes through, after, whenever works for your timeline. That said, you will need a valid manufacturing license to operate this equipment for cannabis processing in any regulated state.
This is the most common question we get, and the answer depends on your state and license. Here's the quick version for California: Type 6 (Non-Volatile): CO2 or ethanol extraction, rotovap, chiller, vacuum pump, filtration. Budget: $50K-$250K. Type 7 (Volatile): Everything above, plus a closed-loop extractor (ASME-certified) and C1D1 room. Budget: $150K-$500K plus C1D1 buildout ($100K-$500K). We have a detailed guide in the Education Hub that maps license types to specific equipment lists — or just tell us your license type and we'll build a recommendation.
Equipment alone doesn't pass or fail — inspectors evaluate your complete facility. But we make the equipment side easy: ASME certificates ship with pressure-rated equipment, UL/CE docs with electrical equipment, and all spec sheets are suitable for license applications. From what we've seen, the most common inspection issues are actually electrical (wrong circuit capacity), ventilation (insufficient air changes), and missing documentation — not the equipment itself. Plan your facility buildout carefully.
Only if you're running volatile solvents — butane, propane, or similar flammable gases under a Type 7 license. That requires a C1D1 (Class 1, Division 1) classified room. You do NOT need C1D1 for: CO2 extraction, ethanol extraction (may need C1D2 depending on your jurisdiction), solventless processing, or post-extraction steps like distillation. C1D1 buildout runs $100K-$500K — it's the single biggest facility cost for Type 7 operators.

Showroom

San Bernardino, California — right in the Inland Empire. About 60 miles east of LA, easy access from the I-10 and I-215. Free parking on-site. If you're coming from anywhere in Southern California, it's worth the drive.
Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific. Saturdays by appointment for scheduled consultations. Closed Sundays. If you want dedicated time with our team (especially for a full lab planning session), scheduling ahead is the way to go.
Not at all — walk-ins are welcome any time during business hours. But if you're planning a full lab build and want our undivided attention, scheduling ahead means we can have the right people and the right equipment ready for you.
Pretty much everything we sell, set up the way it would be in your lab. Working demo units include rotovaps (2L to 50L), recirculating chillers, jacketed glass reactors, vacuum pumps, short-path distillation setups, vacuum ovens, heating mantles, and filtration equipment. See it running, check the glass quality, compare a 20L next to a 50L, and ask our team anything that comes to mind.
Yes — if it's in stock, it's yours to take. Just bring something bigger than a sedan for anything past benchtop size. If an item isn't in stock, we'll place the order and let you know the moment it's ready for pickup.

Returns & Support

First: inspect everything before signing. If you find damage, take photos of the packaging and the equipment, and contact us within 48 hours at support@greenlabgear.com with your order number and pictures. We handle the freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you. One important thing — don't throw away the damaged packaging until the claim is resolved.
Yes — before, during, and after the sale. Pre-purchase consultation to make sure you're buying the right thing, setup guidance when it arrives, troubleshooting during the warranty period, and maintenance guides in our Education Hub. When you call us, you talk to someone who actually knows this equipment — not someone reading from a script.
We don't do on-site installation right now, but we make sure you're not on your own. Every piece of equipment ships with detailed setup instructions and manuals. We offer phone and video support while you're getting set up, and the Education Hub has step-by-step guides. For bigger projects like C1D1 rooms, we can connect you with licensed contractors who know cannabis facility buildouts.
That's one of our favorite things to do. Tell us your license type, processing method, target scale, and budget range — we'll put together a complete equipment list with pricing, recommended pairings, and a bundle discount. No obligation, no pressure. Hit us up on the contact page or just call us directly.
