1 / 5Model: CSH-300
SPE water-electrolysis hydrogen generator producing 99.999% H2 at 0-300 ml/min and 0.4 MPa output pressure from purified water.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The Swiben CSH-300 is a hydrogen gas generator that produces hydrogen by electrolyzing purified water using solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) membrane technology. It delivers an adjustable output of 0 to 300 ml/min at an output pressure of 0.4 MPa, with stated hydrogen purity above 99.999%.
The unit runs on AC 110V/60Hz or 220V/50/60Hz with a maximum power draw of 0.15 kW. It measures 425 × 210 × 365 mm and weighs 10 kg, making it suitable for benchtop use in a laboratory setting.
This generator is intended for labs that need an on-demand hydrogen supply, such as for gas chromatography carrier or fuel gas, without storing pressurized cylinders.
The generator uses a solid polymer electrolyte (proton exchange) membrane in place of a liquid alkaline electrolyte. At the anode, purified water is oxidized over a catalyst to release oxygen, hydrogen ions, and electrons. The hydrogen ions pass through the membrane to the cathode, where they recombine with electrons to form hydrogen gas. The catalyst is bonded directly to both faces of the membrane in a membrane electrode assembly to reduce electrical resistance.
