1 / 19The Swiben SWN-500 is a benchtop nitrogen generator that produces high-purity nitrogen for laboratory instrumentation. It delivers a continuous output flow of 0 to 500 ml/min at 99.99% purity, drawing from a compressed air feed.
The unit is intended for gas chromatography and general analytical work across petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and environmental laboratories. Operation requires only a compressed air connection and a supply of pure, distilled, or deionized water.
With a compact footprint of 425 × 210 × 365 mm and a weight of 15 kg, it is suited to bench installation in analysis and processing labs.
The generator draws compressed air at an input pressure of at least 0.5 MPa and an input flow of 600 ml/min or greater. An electrolytic cell separates nitrogen from the feed using pure, distilled, or deionized water. The unit stabilizes pressure before regulating flow, with output pressure adjustable from 0 to 0.6 MPa (factory-set at 0.4 MPa ±0.01 MPa) and stability within ±0.001 MPa. A non-return device helps prevent liquid backflow into the instrument.
