The unit holds a 50L tank and circulates coolant at 30L/min with a pump lift of 10–12 m. A microprocessor temperature controller with a digital readout manages setpoints to a stated precision of ±2°C. As a closed circulation system, it operates without a connection to a building water supply.

The chiller uses a hermetically sealed compressor and refrigeration circuit to cool liquid held in its tank.
