This horizontal ultra-low temperature freezer is built for laboratory and research storage at temperatures down to -86°C. It offers a 118 L interior with a 304 stainless steel inner tank and cold-plate sprayed outer housing.
Temperature is managed by a microcomputer control system with a real-time digital display and adjustment in 0.1°C increments. A 150 mm insulation layer helps limit heat loss during operation.
The unit suits research institutions, university and biological laboratories, and facilities that need long-term low-temperature sample storage. Controls and temperature indicators are mounted on the front of the cabinet for direct access.
A Secop compressor circulates refrigerant through a tubular copper-tube evaporator to draw the chamber down to -86°C, while an EBM fan supports heat dissipation. The microcomputer controller monitors the set point and triggers high and low temperature alarms if the chamber drifts outside the configured range.
