The freezer uses a single-stage compression refrigeration system charged with mixed non-CFC refrigerants to reach ultra-low temperatures. A Dixell electronic controller manages the set point with a digital display, while an EBM fan motor supports the cooling circuit. Double silica door gaskets and 100 mm insulation help limit heat exchange with the surrounding environment.
