The MTST GDX-5/10 is a combined high and low temperature circulating device that pairs a low-temperature cooling liquid pump with a high-temperature oil bath in a single unit. It operates across a temperature range of -10 to 199°C with a 5L capacity, making it suitable for laboratory processes that require both heating and cooling.

The unit is designed for use in academic, environmental, biochemical, chemical, and general research settings. It uses a sealed liquid circulation system with an expansion vessel that is mechanically connected but isolated from the circulating liquid, keeping the expansion medium below 60°C regardless of the circulation temperature.

Because the liquid loop is closed, it avoids drawing in water vapor at low temperatures and oil mist at high temperatures, and it accommodates heat transfer oil across a wide working range.

How It Works

A single integrated container provides a large heat exchange area for both heating and cooling, while a circulating pump moves heat transfer fluid through a sealed, closed loop. An expansion vessel handles fluid volume changes without participating in the active circulation, helping keep the loop isolated from ambient air at temperature extremes.
