The Mantaisite BQM-5L is a laboratory roller ball mill built for ultra-fine grinding and mixing of small batches and research samples. It uses a 5L PTFE jar charged with zirconium grinding balls, and supports both dry and wet grinding.

The unit pairs a 0.4 kW motor with PLC control and an adjustable spindle speed range of 60 to 570 r.p.m. Feed material from 0.1 to 10 mm can be processed to an output fineness of roughly 300 to 500 mesh, with a throughput of about 0.5 to 1.75 kg/h.

It is intended for laboratories, education, and small-scale production work in fields such as electronic and magnetic materials, ceramic glazes, metal powders, and nonmetallic minerals.

How It Works

As the driven rollers turn the jar, the grinding media and material are carried up the jar wall and then fall back under gravity. Particle size reduction occurs through the impact of the falling media combined with the friction and shearing of the media as it rolls and slides inside the rotating jar.
