1 / 14The ZZKD SS-2L is a double-layer stainless steel stirred reactor built for laboratory and pilot-scale chemical work. The inner vessel holds the reaction medium, while the surrounding jacket connects to a separate hot or cold source so heating or cooling fluid can circulate around the contents.
Constructed primarily from 304 stainless steel with an optional SS316 upgrade, the reactor supports stirring under atmospheric or negative pressure and can be configured for reflux and distillation. It is offered in 2L, 3L, and 5L working volumes, all sharing a 0.6 L jacket volume and a 0.5 L constant-pressure funnel.
This unit suits fine chemical, synthesis, and process development environments that need controlled-temperature stirred reactions in a sealed stainless steel vessel.
Reaction medium is loaded into the inner chamber and agitated by a paddle mixer driven at speeds from 0 to 460 rpm. A circulating heat-transfer fluid passes through the surrounding jacket to heat or cool the contents at a set temperature. The vessel can operate under atmospheric or negative pressure within its rated range, allowing stirring, reflux, or distillation as required.
