The Swiben HT-200 is a multi-tube vortex mixer built for agitating and homogenizing batches of laboratory test tubes. It runs across a speed range of 100 to 2500 rpm with a 4 mm orbital amplitude and accepts a maximum load of 5.5 kg.

Using interchangeable sponge tube racks, the unit can hold and mix a range of common tube sizes, processing up to 50 samples in a single run. An LCD shows speed and time in real time, and the programmable timer covers 1 minute to 99 hours 59 minutes with an audible alert at completion.

It is intended for labs that handle large numbers of parallel samples and want consistent, repeatable mixing across multiple tubes simultaneously.

How It Works

A BLDC (brushless DC) motor drives an orbital platform at a fixed 4 mm amplitude. A microprocessor controls speed and timing, and a soft-start ramp brings the platform up to speed gradually to limit sample splashing. Operating modes include jog, pulse, continuous, and timed runs, selected through a single knob-based control.
