1 / 15The Swiben LS-100FYD is a vertical counter-pressure retort with a 100L chamber (Φ440 × 650 mm), built for steam sterilization in food, packaging, and laboratory settings. The unit uses electric heating to inject and heat water directly inside the chamber, producing the pressurized steam used for the sterilization cycle.
A microcomputer program control system manages two operating modes: boiling disinfection at or below 100°C and pressure sterilization across a selectable 105–138°C range. After a cycle finishes, externally supplied compressed air and water pressure cool the chamber contents.
The full machine is constructed from stainless steel and is intended for research institutions and processing facilities that need repeatable, programmable sterilization of containers, instruments, and similar items.
Water is injected directly into the single-layer sterilization chamber and heated by an immersed electric heating element to generate high-pressure saturated steam. The microcomputer controller holds the selected temperature and time, then a counter-pressure cooling step uses externally connected compressed air and water to bring chamber contents down toward 30–40°C.
