The 5L tank uses magnetic stirring at the bottom to keep the bath fluid moving, which promotes a more uniform temperature throughout the reservoir. Wetted parts are stainless steel for resistance to corrosion and low-temperature fluids.

A refrigeration circuit cools the bath fluid while a heating element balances the load to hold the set point, reducing frequent compressor cycling.
