1 / 13The HL-4050 is a benchtop low-speed centrifuge built for routine centrifugal sedimentation tasks. It runs across a 300 to 4500 rpm range with a maximum relative centrifugal force of up to 2500 xg, and uses a fixed-angle rotor configured for six 50 ml tubes (A6-50E standard).
The unit pairs a brushless DC motor with an LCD that reports speed and program settings. A wide input range of AC 110-240 V supports varied bench power conditions, and the compact 10 kg housing fits standard lab benches.
It is intended for laboratories performing sample separation in fields such as biochemistry, immunology, and clinical work.
Samples in tubes are spun in a fixed-angle rotor, where centrifugal force drives denser components to the bottom of each tube for separation. Speed and run time are set through the LCD interface, with controlled acceleration and deceleration managed by the DC motor drive. Timed runs can be programmed from 10 seconds up to 99 minutes.
