Compact benchtop microcentrifuge with a fixed-angle rotor holding 12×2ml tubes, reaching up to 15500 rpm with LCD speed and timer control.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The MTST microcentrifuge is a compact benchtop unit built for separating liquids and solids in small-volume samples. It uses a fixed-angle rotor that holds 12 tubes of 2ml each and spins at speeds up to 15500 rpm, generating centrifugal force up to 16100 g.
An LCD display shows speed settings, which adjust in 100 rpm steps, and relative centrifugal force in 100 g increments. A built-in timer covers intervals from 10 seconds to 99 minutes, and the unit also supports continuous operation.
The unit operates on a wide AC supply range of 110V to 240V (50/60Hz) and weighs about 5 kg, making it suitable for processing labs and analytical sample preparation where bench space is limited.
Samples in the fixed-angle rotor are spun at high speed, producing centrifugal force that separates components by density. Heavier particles collect at the bottom of the tube as a pellet while lighter liquid remains above.
