The bath features a stainless steel cover and a brushless DC stirring motor offering continuously variable speeds from 100 to 1200 rpm. Settings are entered through a TFT LCD touch screen, with bath temperature shown on an LED readout.
This configuration corresponds to the -20°C-to-RT model and is intended for chemical, biological, and general laboratory work that requires sustained low-temperature stirring beyond what ice or dry-ice baths can maintain.
A compressor-driven refrigeration circuit, regulated by PID control, cools the bath liquid while a brushless DC magnetic drive spins a stir bar to keep sample temperature uniform. The user sets target temperature and stir speed on the touch-screen interface, and high- and over-temperature protections guard the unit during operation.
