The Swiben SWX-150BIV is a constant-temperature incubator designed for laboratory incubation across a 0–65°C range, with an extended variant capable of operating down to -10°C. It uses a PT100 sensor with digital control to maintain set conditions, and reports temperature accuracy of ±0.5°C at high temperatures and ±1°C at low temperatures, with 0.1°C resolution and ±1°C uniformity.
The interior is a mirror stainless steel chamber, while the outer shell is cold-rolled steel with an electrostatic-spray finish and polyurethane insulation. An air-cooled hermetic compressor provides cooling, and an intelligent automatic defrost function manages frost buildup during sub-zero operation.
The SWX-150BIV adds below-ambient and sub-zero capability over the BIII model, making it suited to cold stability work and low-temperature incubation in research and quality-control settings. Multiple size and feature configurations are available.
A PT100 sensor feeds a digital controller that regulates a stainless steel heater and an air-cooled hermetic compressor to hold the chamber at the set point. Automatic intelligent defrosting clears frost during low-temperature operation, and an over-temperature alarm guards against excursions.
