Model: SD-2000
Bench-scale spray dryer that converts liquid solutions, emulsions, and suspensions directly into fine powder. Borosilicate glass flow path with PID temperature control and touchscreen operation.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The MTST SD-2000 is a laboratory-scale spray dryer designed to turn liquid feedstocks directly into dry powder without prior filtration, concentration, or grinding. It handles solutions, emulsions, and suspensions, making it suited to small-batch research and process development work.
The drying chamber, cyclone separator, and collection bottles are made of high borosilicate glass, allowing the operator to observe the process and providing resistance to strong acids, alkalis, and elevated temperatures. The glass components disassemble for cleaning and reassembly.
Operation is managed from a 7-inch color touchscreen with PLC control and a dual manual/automatic mode. Inlet and outlet temperatures, air volume, air pressure, pump speed, and de-blocking frequency are set and monitored on screen, with a bilingual Chinese/English interface.
Liquid feed is drawn by a peristaltic pump to a two-fluid atomizing nozzle, where compressed air breaks it into a fine spray inside the heated drying chamber. Hot inlet air evaporates the moisture, and the resulting powder is separated in the cyclone and collected in glass bottles. PID control holds the inlet and outlet temperatures to within ±1°C, and an automatic de-blocking device acts on the nozzle to reduce clogging.
