Model: KD-W5L
Lab-scale centrifugal spray dryer with 304 stainless steel construction, 18kW electrical heating, and 3-6 L/h water evaporation capacity for powder production.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The MTST KD-W5L is a laboratory and small-industrial spray dryer that converts liquid feedstock into dry powder using high-speed centrifugal atomization. It is built from 304 stainless steel and rated for a water evaporation capacity of 3 to 6 liters per hour.
The unit pairs an 18kW electrical heating system with a drying chamber finished in mirror stainless steel intended for handling sticky materials. A volute cyclone separator recovers the dried product, and a touch-screen interface controls the operating sequence.
It is suited to labs and pilot operations processing solutions, suspensions, and extracts into free-flowing powders, including heat-sensitive and viscous materials.
Liquid feed is delivered to a high-speed centrifugal atomizer that disperses it into fine droplets inside the drying chamber. Heated air, supplied at inlet temperatures up to 330°C, evaporates the solvent rapidly while the outlet air exits at temperatures up to 140°C. The resulting dry powder is carried into a volute cyclone separator for collection, with a quick-opening valve allowing continuous material recovery during extended runs.
