1 / 10The MTST P20 is an oil-free, two-stage diaphragm vacuum pump built for laboratory use. All components in the gas path are made from PTFE, giving the pump resistance to corrosive vapors such as strong acids and bases. It reaches an ultimate vacuum of 8 mbar absolute and delivers a flow rate of 20 L/min at atmospheric pressure.
Because it runs without oil, the pump avoids fluid contamination and can serve as an alternative to a water aspirator in many vacuum applications. It runs on single-phase 110V/220V power at 0.13 kW and connects to tubing via 10 mm fittings.
The compact 9.6 kg housing measures 315 x 165 x 210 mm, making it suitable for benchtop installation in chemical, pharmaceutical, and processing labs.
A two-stage diaphragm assembly draws and compresses gas through PTFE-lined chambers, with the diaphragm and valves (FKM or FFPM) isolating the gas from any lubricant. The reciprocating diaphragms create vacuum while keeping the wetted path chemically inert, allowing operation with corrosive vapors.
Oil-free two-stage diaphragm vacuum pump with PTFE gas-path components, 8 mbar ultimate vacuum and 20 L/min flow for corrosive-gas lab work.
