This DenverVac diaphragm vacuum pump provides dry, oil-free operation for laboratory and extraction applications where solvent vapor contamination must be avoided. It reaches an ultimate vacuum of 2 mbar and moves up to 150 L/min using a three-stage, eight-pump-head configuration.
Gas-contacting components are built from PTFE and PTFE-coated materials, with valve plates of PTFE/FFKM composite, for resistance to corrosive vapors. The motor includes overheat protection that engages at 90 °C, and a brushless fan supplies internal circulation cooling to limit temperature rise on the motor and diaphragm.
The pump suits labs that need a clean, continuous-duty vacuum source for handling chemically aggressive vapors. It draws 530 W at 220 V single phase and operates at a measured noise level of 55 dB(A).
A reciprocating diaphragm draws and compresses gas through a sequence of chambers. With a three-stage, eight-head layout, successive stages lower the pressure to an ultimate vacuum of 2 mbar without any oil in the gas path. The umbrella-shaped reinforced EPDM diaphragm with PTFE coating and PTFE/FFKM valve plates handle corrosive vapors during this cycle.
