This is a 40L industrial filtering centrifuge (model PPTD-30) designed as a top-discharging, hermetically enclosed unit. Material is introduced through a feed pipe into the rotating drum, where centrifugal force drives the liquid phase through a filter medium while solids are retained inside the basket.
All parts in contact with the material are made from SS304L stainless steel, suiting food-grade processing requirements. The inner bowl accepts a filter bag in the 200–600 mesh range, with bag material selectable by the user. Once processing is complete, the retained solid cake is removed from the top of the machine.
The unit is intended for labs and processing facilities that need to separate solids from liquids under enclosed conditions, including feeding, washing, and dehydrating within a sealed casing.
A motor drives the basket through a belt to rotate at speed. Under PLC control, material is fed into the basket and pushed against the filter medium by centrifugal force. The liquid phase passes through the medium and exits via the liquid line, while the solid phase is held in the basket. A material detection device monitors the fill level and stops feeding when the cake reaches capacity. The cake can then be washed and dried before discharge.
