Laboratory benchtop freeze dryer with a 0.12 m² drying area, condenser below -60℃, and an included 2XZ-2 rotary vane vacuum pump. Local pickup only.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The 12N-60A is a laboratory vacuum freeze dryer (lyophilizer) designed to remove moisture from pre-frozen materials by sublimation under vacuum. It offers a 0.12 m² drying area, a 1.5 L tray capacity, and a transparent bell-type drying chamber that allows the process to be observed during operation.
The system reaches a condenser temperature below -60℃ and a working vacuum below 5 Pa, with a stated water-capture capacity of 4 kg. Operation is managed through a 7-inch color LCD touch screen that can display the drying curve. The unit ships configured for 110 V / 60 Hz with a rated power of 950 W.
This configuration is intended for laboratory and processing environments that need to dry small batches of moisture-containing material while preserving their physical form for storage and later rehydration.
Freeze drying removes water by first pre-freezing the material and then sublimating the ice directly to vapor under vacuum. The cold trap, cooled below -60℃, captures the released water vapor while the vacuum pump maintains low pressure in the chamber. The cold trap also has a pre-freezing function, and an internal heat exchanger helps lower trap temperature and increase water-capture capacity.
