1 / 23The MTST HFD-6 is a vacuum freeze dryer (lyophilizer) built for laboratory sample preparation. It provides a 0.6㎡ drying area across four trays measuring 320×430mm, with 70mm of space between trays. The drying chamber door is made of transparent organic glass so the lyophilization process can be observed throughout the cycle.
Operation is managed through an LCD control system that supports programmable heating and temperature control. The unit ships with a matching vacuum pump connected by a standard KF quick connector. It is intended for labs working with biological and other temperature-sensitive samples that require gentle, low-temperature drying.
The system runs on single-phase 220–230V power with an energy consumption of 2000W and is designed for ambient conditions of 10°C to 30°C and humidity at or below 70%.
Freeze drying removes water or solvent from frozen samples by sublimation under vacuum. The sample is frozen and held at low temperature while the chamber is evacuated to below 15Pa, allowing ice to pass directly to vapor and be captured on the condenser. Because drying occurs at low temperature, it suits materials sensitive to heat.
