Laboratory freeze dryer with multi-tray shelves, 3 kg water capture, and a condenser rated below -60°C for batch sublimation drying.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The Swiben 10N-60A is a benchtop laboratory freeze dryer (lyophilizer) built for batch drying of materials by sublimation. It provides a water capture capacity of 3 kg and a condenser temperature rated below -60°C, with a -80°C condenser available as an option.
The unit uses multiple stacked trays (φ200 mm) with 70 mm tray spacing, giving a drying area of 0.092 m² or 0.12 m² depending on tray configuration and a per-tray liquid capacity of 1 L or 1.5 L. It draws 850 W and is intended for processing and extraction labs that need temperature-controlled drying.
This configuration suits operators who require repeatable low-temperature drying cycles for samples held on shelf trays rather than vials.
The system freezes the sample, then applies vacuum (rated below 5 Pa) so that frozen moisture sublimates directly from solid to vapor. The cold trap, sized 236×170 mm and held below -60°C, condenses and captures that vapor while the trays hold the material at low temperature throughout the cycle.
