1 / 13The MTST 10N-60C is a benchtop vacuum freeze dryer (lyophilizer) built for laboratory-scale sublimation drying. It uses a transparent bell-type drying chamber and a condenser rated to -60°C, with a stated water-capture capacity of 3 kg. Operation is managed through a 7-inch color touch-screen interface that also displays the drying curve.
The drying chamber is formed as a single piece to reduce leak points, and the cold trap includes a pre-freezing function so a separate low-temperature freezer is not required for many workflows. The unit ships configured with trays and an included rotary vane vacuum pump.
It is intended for labs and processing facilities that need to dry small batches of water-containing materials while preserving their original form on rehydration.
Freeze drying removes water by first freezing the material, then lowering chamber pressure so the ice sublimates directly to vapor. The vacuum pump evacuates the chamber while the condenser (cold trap) operates at low temperature to capture the released water vapor, allowing drying to proceed at reduced temperatures.
