1 / 2Model: FD-12N-60A
Benchtop freeze dryer with a sub -60°C condenser, four 200mm trays, and 4kg water capture for batch lyophilization.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The Swiben FD-12N-60A is a laboratory freeze dryer (lyophilizer) built around a low-temperature condenser rated below -60°C, with an optional -80°C configuration. It accommodates four circular trays measuring 200mm in diameter, with 70mm spacing between trays and a per-tray capacity of 1.5L.
The unit provides a 0.12㎡ drying area and a water capture capacity of 4kg, supporting batch drying of materials under reduced pressure. Vacuum is rated below 5 Pa, and the system draws 0.95 kW.
This configuration suits processing labs that need controlled, low-temperature drying of small to mid-size batches. Recommended ambient operating temperature is at or below 28°C.
Freeze drying removes moisture by sublimation: frozen material is held under vacuum so that ice transitions directly to vapor, which is then captured on the cold condenser. The low condenser temperature (below -60°C) and vacuum level (below 5 Pa) drive moisture from the product onto the cold trap, sized 236×280mm.
