1 / 11The ZZKD SJ-1S is a laboratory vacuum freeze dryer (lyophilizer) designed to remove water from frozen samples through sublimation under vacuum. This configuration is supplied without the top-press feature.
It holds a single 300×400mm tray with a shelf area of 0.12m³ and a water-catching capacity of 1-2kg. Shelf temperature is adjustable from -50°C to 50°C with ±1°C uniformity, and the condenser reaches below -65°C while pulling vacuum to ≤5Pa. Shelf stainless steel is heated and cooled using silicone oil as the heat-exchange medium for stable, uniform temperature control.
The unit suits laboratories drying solid or liquid aqueous products in vials, ampoules, tubes, glass containers, or dishes, and is intended for biological, food, and beverage applications.
The product is frozen and then placed under vacuum, where ice sublimates directly from solid to vapor and is collected on a condenser held below -65°C. Shelf temperature is controlled by circulating silicone oil, allowing programmable heating and cooling through the freezing, sublimation, and secondary drying stages. A programmable control system manages the full cycle from freeze-drying through defrost, with manual and automatic operating modes and pulse backfilling to limit disturbance of granular or flocculent material.
