1 / 12The Swiben CF-0.05L is a simple high-pressure autoclave reactor with a 50ml working volume. The body and cover are constructed from SS304L stainless steel, with a flange threaded to the kettle body and a flat-plate cover secured by main bolts and nuts for a static seal.
The reactor is designed for external heating using a conduction oil bath, and it can also be placed in a drying oven, constant-temperature water bath, or low-temperature tank. It is rated for a design temperature of 350°C and a maximum pressure of 22MPa.
This unit suits laboratories performing reactions with flammable, toxic, or highly penetrating media that require a sealed, leak-resistant vessel. Capacities from 50ml to 3000ml and custom pressure ratings are available on request.
The kettle body connects to a flange via threads, and a flat-plate cover is pressed against the sealing surface by tightening the main bolts symmetrically to form a static seal. Heat is applied externally through a conduction oil bath or other heated environment, and pressure builds within the sealed vessel as the contents react. The reactor includes inlet/outlet and sample valves for charging and sampling.
