1 / 25This is a 1 L high pressure stirred autoclave reactor constructed from 316L stainless steel. It is rated for operation up to 450°C and 17 MPa (about 2465 psi), with temperature control to within ±2°C.
The vessel uses motor-driven stirring with an adjustable speed range of 50 to 1000 r/min and an inner coil for heat transfer. A magnetic coupling links the motor and agitator, providing a static seal that avoids the leakage associated with dynamic shaft seals. This makes the unit suitable for handling volatile, toxic, or otherwise sensitive media.
It is intended for laboratory chemical reactions involving gas-liquid, liquid-liquid, liquid-solid, and gas-liquid-solid systems, and is supplied as a packed tower style reactor configuration.
The reactor seals chemical media inside the 316L stainless steel vessel for elevated temperature and pressure reactions. An inner coil transfers heat to control the internal temperature, while a motor coupled to the agitator through a magnetic coupling drives stirring at 50-1000 r/min. The magnetic coupling keeps the drive static and sealed, reducing leakage during agitation.
