1 / 13The MTST CF-3L is a simple-design high pressure autoclave reactor built from SS304 stainless steel. It belongs to the CF series, which ranges from 3L to 20L in capacity. The vessel body connects to a flat-plate cover through a threaded flange, with the two clamped together by main bolts and nuts for a sealed, leak-free reaction environment.
Designed for chemical and organic synthesis work, the reactor accommodates aggressive, flammable, toxic, or penetrating media. It is intended for use within an external heating environment such as an electric blast drying oven, a constant-temperature oil or water bath, or a low-temperature tank.
The unit suits laboratories running pressurized reactions in petroleum, chemical, polymer, and food research, where contained handling of demanding media is required.
The reactor is heated externally by heat conduction oil rather than an internal element. Temperature is regulated by a PID control system, with recommended heating and cooling rates of 5°C/min or less and a design temperature up to 350°C. The main seal is formed by tightening the cover bolts symmetrically and gradually against a gasket or tapered/contact surface, pressing the cover and body together to hold pressure up to 22 MPa.
