1 / 16The Swiben CJF series is a stirred high pressure reactor (autoclave) built for sealed reactions involving flammable, explosive, toxic, or penetrating chemical media. It combines stirring, heating, and pressurized reaction in a single vessel and is offered in capacities ranging from 0.05 L to 5 L.
The vessel is constructed in SS304L, with SS316L available as a reactor material option. It is rated for a design temperature of 350°C and a design pressure of 22 MPa (220 bar), with temperature control to ±1°C. A static sealing arrangement keeps the medium and stirring components enclosed during operation.
The unit suits laboratory and pilot work in organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, petrochemical research, and hydrothermal synthesis, and is configured as a semi-automatic system for research and process testing.
Reactants are loaded into the sealed vessel, which is closed by tightening the main nut against the gasket or tapered sealing surface. The contents are heated by coil heating and agitated by a motor-driven stirrer running between 50 and 1000 rpm, allowing reactions to proceed under elevated temperature and pressure. After the reaction, the vessel is cooled before the lid is opened.
