1 / 12The MTST CF-1L is a simple high pressure autoclave reactor built from SS304 stainless steel with a 1000ml working volume. The vessel body threads into a flange and is sealed against a flat cover using main bolts and nuts, producing a leak-resistant joint suitable for reactions under elevated pressure.
The reactor has no integrated heating element. It is designed to be placed inside an external heat source such as a blast drying oven, constant-temperature oil or water bath, or a low-temperature tank. This makes it adaptable for a range of synthesis and processing applications where contained, pressurized conditions are required.
It is intended for laboratory chemists and process developers working with chemical, organic synthesis, and polymer reactions that benefit from a sealed, pressure-rated stainless steel vessel.
The vessel body and flat cover are clamped together with main bolts and nuts, compressing a sealing gasket or tapered line-contact surface to form the pressure seal. Nuts are tightened symmetrically and gradually so the cover seats evenly. The assembled reactor is then placed in an external heat source; heat conducts through the stainless steel wall to the contents. A PID temperature control system can regulate the external heating, with the vessel rated to a safety pressure of 22MPa.
