1 / 19The Swiben KGYF-S is a benchtop high-pressure reactor (autoclave) built from 316L stainless steel for corrosion resistance and stable performance under elevated temperature and pressure. It combines stirring, heating, and a sealed reaction vessel in a single unit and is intended for laboratory-scale chemical synthesis.
The reactor uses fully sealed magnetic drive stirring to keep the medium and moving parts enclosed, which suits work with flammable, volatile, toxic, or penetrating media. Inlet, sampling, and exhaust valves allow gas charging, sampling during a run, and venting.
It is suited to research and process development settings such as university labs, biochemistry, and organic synthesis work where multi-phase gas-liquid-solid reactions need to be run under controlled pressure.
A magnetic stirring mantle drives the internal stir element without a mechanical shaft penetration, maintaining a static seal between the medium and the outside. An electric heating module warms the vessel while an integrated temperature probe monitors the internal reaction temperature, and a pressure gauge displays vessel pressure. Temperature and stir speed are set through an LCD control panel, and a stainless steel explosion-proof valve provides overpressure protection.
