A magnetic heating mantle heats the SS304 vessel under PID-style temperature control while a DC motor drives the stirrer at speeds up to 1800 r/min. The magnetic coupling and static seal isolate the medium from the drive, preventing leakage during pressurized reactions. The reactor body separates quickly from the heater so it can be cooled after a run. The vessel is closed with a main nut that compresses a gasket or tapered sealing surface.
