1 / 17The MTST PKH-200ML is a high pressure hydrothermal synthesis reactor built for digesting or reacting samples that are difficult to dissolve under ambient conditions. The 200ml vessel pairs a forged 304 stainless steel kettle body with a PTFE inner liner, allowing reactions at elevated temperature and pressure inside a sealed environment.
The kettle uses a quick-opening design with a stainless steel clamp and bolts, so it can be assembled and opened by hand without specialized tools. A bursting disc provides overpressure protection and automatic pressure relief to address the safety risks associated with sealed high-pressure vessels.
This reactor is intended for laboratory and processing settings that perform hydrothermal synthesis, sample digestion, or corrosion-resistant high-pressure reactions. It is heated externally in an oven rather than on direct heat sources.
Reaction material is loaded into the PTFE liner, which seats inside the stainless steel kettle body and is sealed with the clamp and bolts. The assembled vessel is placed in an oven and brought to the target temperature at a controlled heating rate. As temperature rises, internal pressure increases, holding the contents in a sealed liquid phase so that otherwise insoluble or volatile samples can be reacted without loss. The integrated bursting disc relieves pressure automatically if the rated limit is exceeded.
