1 / 23This benchtop autoclave reactor system is built for gas-liquid, liquid-liquid, and liquid-solid reactions under elevated pressure and temperature. The set combines mechanical stirring, heating, and a sealed high pressure vessel in a compact desktop format, and ships as two vessels of 50 ml and 250 ml.
The reactor bodies are constructed from 316 stainless steel and rated for a maximum pressure of 22 MPa and a design temperature of 350°C. A static sealing structure keeps the stirring assembly and reaction medium fully enclosed, which makes the unit suited to handling flammable, volatile, toxic, or otherwise penetrating chemical media.
It is intended for research and process development settings such as university labs, environmental, biochemical, and general chemical research where small-batch pressurized reactions are required.
The vessel is loaded and sealed by tightening the main nut against a gasket or tapered sealing surface to form a leak-tight closure. A magnetic-coupled drive turns the internal stirrer without breaking the seal, while a heating mantle raises temperature under PID control. Recommended heating and cooling rates are 5°C/min or less, and the vessel is filled to no more than 80 percent of capacity. After the reaction the body is allowed to cool to room temperature before the lid is opened.
