1 / 23The MTST CF-0.25L is a stainless steel high pressure reactor (autoclave) with a 250 mL working volume. It is constructed from SS304 and rated for pressures from 0 to 22 MPa, making it suitable for sealed hydrothermal and chemical reactions where elevated pressure is required.
The vessel relies on external heating rather than an integrated heater. It can be placed in an electric drying oven, a constant-temperature oil or water bath, or a low-temperature bath, allowing the operator to choose the heat source appropriate to the reaction. The body and cover are sealed by main bolts and nuts.
This reactor is intended for laboratory chemical work including organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, and reactions involving aggressive or penetrating media that require a leak-resistant sealed vessel.
The reactor body and flat cover are joined with a threaded flange and tightened by symmetrically torqued main bolts, compressing a gasket or tapered line-contact seal to close the vessel. Heat is supplied externally through conduction from an oil bath, oven, or other bath, and pressure builds within the sealed chamber as the contents reach reaction temperature. After the reaction, the vessel is cooled to room temperature before the cover is opened.
