1 / 13The MTST HK-200 is a hydrothermal synthesis autoclave reactor with a 304 stainless steel body and a PTFE inner liner. It provides a sealed, high-pressure environment for reactions carried out under external heating in an oven or furnace.
The PTFE liner is chemically inert, non-stick, and corrosion resistant, making the vessel suitable for work with strong acids and bases. The thickened stainless steel wall, threaded cap, and locking rod create an airtight chamber for repeatable reactions.
This 25ml model is intended for researchers and teaching labs running small-volume synthesis and sample digestion. Related liner sizes are listed at 50ml, 100ml, 150ml, and 200ml.
The sample and solvent are sealed inside the PTFE liner, which is placed in the stainless steel shell and tightened with the primary cap and locking rod. The closed vessel is heated externally in an oven or furnace, generating elevated internal pressure that allows refractory materials to dissolve or react. A heating and cooling rate of about 5°C/min is recommended, and the liner should not be filled beyond roughly 80% of capacity.
