1 / 18This MTST high pressure reactor is a benchtop autoclave with a 500ml working volume, built with a Hastelloy alloy kettle body and stirring rod. It combines mechanical stirring, magnetic mantle heating, and a sealed pressure vessel in a single unit for laboratory-scale reactions.
The reactor uses a static sealing structure that keeps the medium and the mixing components fully enclosed, which suits work involving flammable, toxic, or otherwise sensitive chemical media. It supports gas-liquid, liquid-liquid, and liquid-solid reactions.
It is intended for use in universities, research laboratories, biochemistry, and environmental and chemical process work where controlled high-pressure, heated, and stirred conditions are required.
The sample is loaded into the Hastelloy kettle, which is sealed by tightening the main nut against the gasket or tapered sealing surfaces. A magnetic mantle heater raises the contents to the set temperature under PID control, while the magnetically coupled stirrer mixes at up to 1000 r/min. Temperature and stirring speed are shown on the display, and the kettle can be separated from the heater for cooling after the reaction completes.
Benchtop 500ml stirred high pressure reactor with Hastelloy kettle body and stirring rod, rated to 22MPa and a 350°C design temperature.
