1 / 11The MTST R-1010 is a 10L rotary evaporator built for distillation and solvent separation in the laboratory. It pairs a 10L rotating flask with a 5L receiving flask and uses a vertical double condenser for vapor recovery.
The unit features automatic motorized bath lifting with a 0–160 mm stroke and a stainless steel water bath measuring φ350×220 mm that heats from ambient up to 99°C. A brushless 250W motor drives the rotating flask at 20–130 RPM under digital frequency-conversion stepless speed control.
It is intended for laboratories performing routine evaporation and distillation work that need a larger-capacity rotavap with reliable temperature and speed regulation.
The sample is held in the rotating flask, which is partially immersed in the heated water bath. Rotation spreads a thin film across the flask wall for efficient heat transfer and even evaporation while reducing local overheating. Vapor passes to the vertical double condenser, where it is cooled and collected in the receiving flask, typically under vacuum to lower the boiling point.
