Model: SD-2000
Laboratory spray dryer for converting liquid solutions directly into powder, with borosilicate glass chamber, PID temperature control, and touchscreen operation.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The MTST SD-2000 is a laboratory-scale spray dryer designed to convert liquid feeds such as solutions, emulsions, and suspensions directly into fine powder without prior filtration, concentration, or grinding. It operates on 220V and is intended for research and development work with heat-sensitive materials.
The spray chamber, cyclone separator, and receiving vessel are made of borosilicate glass, allowing direct observation of the drying process and resistance to strong acids, alkalis, and high temperatures. Components are designed for straightforward assembly, disassembly, and cleaning.
The unit is suited to laboratories and R&D groups that need reproducible powder production from liquid samples with controlled inlet and outlet temperatures.
Liquid feed is atomized through a nozzle into a heated drying chamber, where the solvent evaporates rapidly and the material forms a dry powder. The powder is separated from the airflow in a cyclone separator and collected in a receiving vessel. Inlet and outlet temperatures are regulated by PID control, while airflow, pump speed, and an anti-blocking function are managed through the control system.
