The MTST SHZ-C is a vertical circulating water vacuum pump that uses water as the working fluid to generate negative pressure through jet (ejector) action. It serves as both a vacuum source and a supply of circulating cooling water for connected glassware and reaction setups.

The unit has a 50 L water tank and five vacuum taps, allowing multiple connection points to operate at once. With a polypropylene body, it is oil-free and resistant to corrosion from many lab vapors.

It is intended for extraction and processing labs that need a clean, oil-free vacuum source for rotary evaporators, reactors, filtration, and similar bench operations.

How It Works

A pump recirculates water from the internal 50 L tank through jet nozzles. As the water stream passes through each ejector, it draws gas from the connected apparatus, producing negative pressure at the vacuum taps. The same circulating water can also be routed to provide cooling to attached equipment.
