1 / 11The ZZKD ZF-50L is a vacuum suction filtration apparatus built around a 50L 304 stainless steel funnel paired with a high borosilicate (GG-17/3.3) glass receiving vessel. It is designed to separate solids from liquids by drawing solution through filter media under negative pressure.
The funnel uses laser-cut filter holes and a composite PTFE seal that supports vacuum down to -0.098 MPa. A glass discharge valve handles collected liquid, and the unit is mounted on universal casters with brakes for positioning over a receiving container.
This configuration suits processing and laboratory environments that require batch filtration of larger volumes. Filter paper, cloth, or mesh is required as the filtration medium.
A vacuum source connected to the unit's vacuum nozzle creates negative pressure beneath the funnel, pulling the solution through the filter medium while retaining solids on the surface. The PTFE seal maintains pressure up to -0.098 MPa, and filtered liquid collects in the borosilicate vessel below, where it can be drained through the glass discharge valve.
