The MTST ZF-50L is a vacuum suction filtration unit built for separating solids from liquids in a laboratory or processing setting. It pairs a 50L GG17 borosilicate glass receiving flask with a stainless steel funnel and frame, sized at 400×245 mm.
The system uses an applied vacuum to draw liquid through filter media placed in the funnel, retaining the solid material above. It is intended for users who need to collect a filtered solid or clarify a solution at moderate batch volumes.
The assembly is mounted on a frame with braked universal wheels, allowing it to be repositioned and locked in place. The receiving flask discharges through a glass valve.
Filter paper, cloth, or mesh is placed in the funnel, and a vacuum is applied through the 80 flange suction connection. The resulting negative pressure pulls liquid through the filter media into the receiving flask below, while the solid material is retained on the filter surface. A composite seal supports a stated working negative pressure of -0.098 MPa.
