1 / 14The ZZKD BR-14S-1 is a benchtop muffle furnace built for high-temperature thermal treatment of metals, ceramics, and other compound materials. It offers a 100 × 100 × 100 mm (1 L) chamber and reaches a maximum temperature of 1400°C for short-duration operation, with a continuous working temperature of 1300°C.
Heating is provided by a SiC heating element paired with an S-type thermocouple, and the chamber uses ceramic fiber board insulation for thermal efficiency. A double-layer steel casing with cooling fans keeps the exterior surface temperature below 60°C.
The furnace is intended for university, research, and industrial laboratories carrying out sintering, melting, annealing, and materials analysis.
Temperature is regulated by a 50-segment programmable PID controller that lets the operator set heating rates, dwell times, and cooling rates. The controller drives the SiC heating element while the S-type thermocouple provides feedback, holding temperature to within ±1°C. Over-temperature and broken-thermocouple protection allow programmed cycles to run automatically, and a door interlock cuts power when the furnace door is opened.
