1 / 14The ZZKD BR-14S-8 is a high-temperature box (muffle) furnace with an 8-liter chamber measuring 200 × 200 × 200 mm (W × H × D). It uses silicon carbide (SiC) heating elements and reaches a maximum temperature of 1400°C for short cycles, with a continuous working temperature of 1300°C.
The furnace is built for sintering, melting, annealing, and material analysis of metals, non-metals, and compound materials. It is intended for university, research, and industrial laboratory use.
Temperature control is handled by a programmable PID controller supporting multiple segments for heating rate, dwell time, and cooling rate. The unit is rated CE and operates on 220V 60Hz, with a 208V option.
SiC heating elements raise the chamber temperature under PID control with an S-type thermocouple providing feedback. Operators program heating rates, hold times, and cooling rates as segments; the controller manages the cycle automatically. A safety interlock cuts power when the door is opened, and over-temperature alarms support unattended operation.
