1 / 14The ZZKD BR-12N is a benchtop muffle furnace with a 100 × 100 × 100 mm (1 liter) chamber. It reaches a maximum temperature of 1200°C for short intervals (under 2 hours) and is rated for a continuous working temperature of 1100°C, making it suited to sintering, melting, and material analysis of metals, ceramics, and other compounds.
The furnace uses two layers of ceramic fiber board insulation for thermal efficiency, housed in a double-layer steel casing with cooling fans that keeps the outer surface below 60°C. A front-opening door includes a power cutoff that interrupts heating when the door is opened.
It is intended for university, research, and industrial laboratory settings that require controlled high-temperature thermal treatment in a compact footprint.
A quality resistance heating wire heats the insulated chamber while a K-type thermocouple with a 99.7% purity alumina tube provides feedback to a programmable PID controller. The controller manages heating rate, dwell time, and cooling across multiple segments, and includes over-temperature alarm and protection so cycles can run unattended.
