1 / 13The ZZKD BR-12N-3 is a benchtop muffle furnace built for sintering, melting, and thermal analysis of metals, ceramics, titanium, and other compound materials. It offers a 150 × 150 × 150 mm (3 L) chamber with a working temperature of 1100°C and a maximum temperature of 1200°C for short durations under two hours.
The furnace uses ceramic fiber insulation and a double-layer steel casing with cooling fans to keep the outer surface temperature low during operation. A front-opening door with a power cutoff interlock supports controlled, unattended runs.
It is intended for university, research, and industrial laboratories that need repeatable high-temperature cycles with tight temperature accuracy.
A K-type thermocouple housed in a 99.7% purity alumina tube feeds temperature data to a programmable PID controller, which manages the resistance heating elements. Operators can program multi-segment profiles to set heating rates (0–20°C/min), dwell times, and cooling rates, with over-temperature and broken-thermocouple protection enabling automatic shutdown.
