1 / 13The ZZKD BR-12N-8 is a box-type muffle furnace built for high-temperature work in university, research, and industrial laboratories. It reaches a maximum temperature of 1200°C (rated for short-duration use under two hours) with a continuous working temperature of 1100°C, and is suited to sintering, melting, and analysis of metal, non-metal, and composite materials.
The chamber uses layered ceramic-fiber insulation for thermal efficiency, while the double-layer steel casing with cooling fans keeps the outer surface below 60°C. A reinforced furnace top is designed to resist sagging over long-term use.
The unit is configured for 220 V operation at 5 kW (208 V/380 V options noted by the supplier) and carries CE marking. It is intended for laboratories that require repeatable temperature programs and stable uniformity across the chamber.
Heating is delivered by resistance heating elements and regulated through a PID controller. A K-type thermocouple with a 99.7% purity alumina protection tube feeds temperature readings back to the controller, which manages heating rate (0–20°C/min), dwell, and cooling across programmable segments. Over-temperature and broken-thermocouple protection, plus a door interlock that cuts power when the front door opens, are included as safety functions.
