1 / 14The ZZKD BR-14S-3 is a laboratory muffle furnace built for high-temperature thermal processing of metals, ceramics, and other compound materials. It provides a 150 x 150 x 150 mm (3 L) chamber with a maximum temperature of 1400°C for short cycles and a continuous working temperature of 1300°C.
The unit uses silicon carbide (SiC) heating elements and a ceramic fiber insulated chamber for efficient heat retention. A double-layer steel casing with cooling fans keeps the outer surface below 60°C during operation.
It is intended for university, research institute, and industrial laboratory work involving sintering, melting, annealing, and analysis of metal and non-metal samples.
Temperature is regulated by a PID controller with SCR phase-angle power control and an S-type thermocouple. The controller supports programmable segments for setting heating rates, dwell times, and cooling rates, with auto-tune and over-temperature and broken-thermocouple protection for unattended cycles. A door interlock cuts power when the furnace door is opened.
